With the full power of programming languages behind it ( VB.Net and Visual C#)and embedded database, looks hard to beat.

Not free, but "reasonably priced".

And they're already complaining viciously that it is too easy to use, it is beneath them, it is a toy.

Doesn't look that impressive to me.

Does to me though, in several ways.

Such as checkbox deployment options to make local app or web app.

So any more feedback on this new Filemaker rival? Is it really good enough to be called a rival?

Nope. Particularly not after DevCon.

I actually think this looks quite good,can see it being speedy as a web based product and if its marketed right who knows...although I'm not privy to what was said at Devcon :)
