I'm trying to host a file on my computer so that someone else not on my network can access the file using their own filemaker pro 11 app.

I already have IWP set up so I know that port forwarding is working fine at least for port 591.

I try to connect using the same server information for IWP and it doesn't work.

For example my IWP server address is host.com:591 and it works fine. When I type in host.com:591/databasename in the Open Remote File dialog box it doesn't work. Is there something I'm missing?

Sorry, I figured it out finally. I didn't know that to share remotely you have to also forward port 5003 and not just 591.

My mistake.
