Lookups Not Triggered

I have an auto enter field that is used to establish a relationship and trigger a number of lookups in other fields. The lookups work fine if the record is created in FileMaker but fails when the record is created using fxphp.

The auto enter field is auto entered correctly when the fxphp record is created but the lookups are not triggered.

Any ideas on why the different behavior and how to resolve it?
