Is it possible to use FM's find capabilities to search my inventory on the web? I want customers to be able to find what they're looking for, prices, etc., not to buy on-line, but to ease the heavy seasonal phone traffic in the store. I'm using Adobe GoLive to create the web site. Thanks for any help.

FileMaker Pro offers the cdml tags "-find", "-findany" and "-findall", so you have choices on the finds you can perform.

Use Claris HomePage to generate the necessary html format files to interface your database to the web.

Once these are done and working, use your favorite web tool (like GoLive) to add the trendy wiggly and zoomy bits that take ages to download but add nothing to the functionality of the site.

(OK I'm a bit biased there on that last bit, but the recommendation for Home Page is a good one -- it's designed to work with FMP.)
