Two things, we have an installed base of FMpro 3 users mostly NT with a few MAC in peer to peer mode. We want to give access to the databases on our local network to outside users. We are implementing a VPN solution and I believe using FMpro server will give better access to our outside users. Question 1 can I use FMpro 5 server with 3 databases being accessed by 3 clients?. Question 2 if not does anyone know where to get FMpro 3 server? filemaker does not sell it anymore and I have been unable to find anyone selling it on the web. Thanks in advance

FMP Server can serve up to 125 databases to up to 125 users, or something very close to that. You can serve 3 DBs to 3 users just as easily.

You could try buying the software from someone who has upgraded to v5.

I think you'll have to convert all the files over to FMP5 format before they'll run with FMP Server 5 (and all the problems inherent with converting files between versions will be applicable).

All your users will also need to upgrade to FMP 5 to be able access the shared databases.
