Hiya Gang - I had to rebuild my iMAC cuz it kept freezing up during warmup -- I got all my programs up and running and now when I try to install Filemaker 4.0 it gives me an error of 1008:17,-23 and chokes when it tries to install the Filemaker application file frown.gif I thought it might be a bad CD - but then I pulled out the Developer Edition (I got bother versions - regular and developer) and they BOTH choke on the same file with the same error - not a coinicedence frown.gif

I tried turning off all extentions except for CD and it still does it frown.gif

Any ideas?

Try rebooting with extensions off.Then try to run the installer. Another idea is to run Norton and see if something did some damage during install.-bd
