Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the slim vertical active selection bar to the left when in List View?

I find when I switch from Form to List views, the contents are shifted to one side to accomodate the addition of the bar and visa versa.

No, it cannot be removed.

Oh well. Thanks anyway. I'll just have to shift the contents a little depending on whether it's designed for a List or a Form view.

Try adding a fake vertical bar to the left side of all form views.

In a related question, the vertical bar doesn't stand out enough in List View for my application.

Is there a 'Get' or other function that says whether the record is the 'active' record in a list view? I'd like to further highlight the active record (the one with the vertical bar) in the list view using a conditional format for one or more fields.

This depends very much on your version. Your profile indicates version 7 - is this true?
