First you need at least Filemaker 4.1, which is the first version to offer ODBC access. Although version 5 offers much better ODBC support.

Once you have that, then you will have the necessary drivers installed.

Hi I want to connect some data from FileMaker Pro 4.0 to a winfax system. I already do this with Access databases & via ODBC. My query is which ODBC driver can I go through? The Web site has notes on using ODBC & version 5 but I just wanted to check this is same for version 4. If so then which is best one to use?
