So this Windows95-based client has to upgrade their OS in order to hook up a CD-R.

The question is, can they upgrade to WindowsMe and continue using FMPv4, or do they need to stop with Windows98? And is Win2K even an option here?

I've just upgraded to Windows 2K so imediately got out my old copy of Filemaker 4.0v1 and tried installing it. Absolutley no problems installing and there don't seem to be any problmes running a database etiher although I must say I haven't done extensive tests! Of course this doesn't mean that Windows ME would also work! Thats a whole different ball game!
