anyway the company I work for has asked me to migrate FMServer 3.0

from an old pc to a new dedicated server.

The issue I have is that I do not have the license for the server, this is an old install. Is there a way of finding out the license number from the application...

Failing this, is it still possible to buy filemaker server 3.0

You have a tough situation on your hands. I know of no way of determining valid license numbers from the FM Server application. If the programmers have done their job correctly, this should be impossible. Copies of FM Server 3.0 became very scarce between 18 and 24 months ago. FMI does not currently sell Server 3.0.

I looked and found one currently on ebay. It started a $1.50, which makes me unsure if it is a full license, but it might be worth checking on.
