kungx Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Hi guys, I was wonder if there was a way to convert my Enter key to a return key so when I type in numbers and hit enter it moves on to the next line. I had it working without a script before but I forgotten how to do it. Thanks,
Ocean West Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 in layout mode field behavior options you can choose tab, return, enter to all advance to the next field.

I tried that earlier before the post and it's not what I wanted to do. I don't want to go to the next field (like using tab) I just want to do a hard break/return with my number enter key instead of my return button to the next line down.
Raybaudi Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I had it working without a script ... It can be made, but you'll need at least v 10 and a script fired by OnObjectKeystroke. ( or a keyboard mapping utility )
kungx Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 Yeah, I had to install a third party keyboard board mapping software. It's free online. The software is called "KeyTweak". For PC only I think. Once I change the keyboard enter to a regular enter like the one with letters. (Technically they should be a the same - Come on Filemaker guys you should know better or at least allow users to changes key within the program without creating scripts for it.)
