July 25, 201114 yr Newbies SafetyNet has been running fine for weeks. Then the other day I received this error in my email: Message from 360Works SafetyNet running on [server name] Fri Jul 22 09:55:03 PDT 2011: Offsite backup failed while getting list of remote files: org.jets3t.service.S3ServiceException: S3 GET connection failed for '/' Is this a problem with S3 or SafetyNet? Note that the time is not the usual time for my SafetyNet backup and when the scheduled time rolled around, the SafetyNet backup succeeded. Thanks for any insight, Caleb
August 8, 201114 yr Sometimes Amazon has hick-ups like that. Since you didn't constantly get these messages it means that the next time SafetyNet tried to communicate with Amazon that everything went fine and your backups were successful.
January 4, 201313 yr SafetyNet hits a backup size limit of something like 5 Gigs, which is hampering a couple of my clients. Client files sure are growing. Is SafetyNet backing up the RC_Data_FMS files? I'm hoping someday that SafetyNet will be like the FileMaker Progressive Backups (aka Differential backups on SQL boxes) where the original is backed up and only changes are submitted. That would be real nice. Thanks for the plugin!
