Printing a field instead of entire data

Featured Replies

I have several fields. They are start date, end date, Actions, Status, Recommendations, and etc. I have about 100 records. I was asked if I can print ONE field (instead of the entire data with all other fields). My coworkers only wanted to print out (one field) which was the Recommendations for a meeting but I was not able to. Is there a way that I can do this?

Just create a layout that has the one field that you wish to print. Then, navigate to that layout and print (either manually or by script).

Hm okay, its just a temporary thing so I can just make new layouts and delete when its all printed.

we will hide the field when printing ,it should be done by the go to edit mode and select the field which is not to print there is option by right clicking the mouse set sliding/printing and check the option do not print the selected object.

Randhir,

What ????

Rick,

I believe that Randhir's suggestion is to turn off printing for all the fields except the one that you wish to print rather than creating a new layout. However, in this case, I think a new layout with the one field will result in a better printout.

PS: By "edit mode" he means Layout mode. The checkbox is available on the Inspector in the Sliding/Printing section.
