moj6054 Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 Hi, I think nobody here, know about this my problem, Are this forum useful?!!
Lee Smith Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 If I'm understanding you correctly, nothing you describe has changed in v12. If you have converted your v11 file into v12, it should work as it did in v11. If you are recreating your file in v12, then you need to verify that you haven't messed something in the process. Is everything set up identical such as the relationship, fields types, etc. Lee
moj6054 Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Hi, But I think incorrect in v12. I think Filemaker v12 have very problem, and that not useful for this time.
Lee Smith Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 You did not answer my question about how the v12 file came to be. I think Filemaker v12 have very problem, and that not useful for this time. I disagree, I think v12 is as good as past versions, with some great new design tools to work with.
dsghs Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 I have a drop down with a value list populated with data from a related table. Worked fine in fm11. After conversion to fm12, still works fine.
gillian Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hi I had the same problem - solved the problem in the value list setup 'include only related values starting from:' - well they were all previously set up from the initial relationship 'current table' which used to show as 'unknown' but now you have to do it as it was intended and select the table from which the related value starts. Hope this makes sense, I'm sure this will make more sense when you get into the value list setup.
