I am using Windows 7 and FMP 11. When I use my mouse scroll, my records change instead of the window scrolling up and down. On a Mac, it scrolls the layout, but on Windows, it changes the records. I've read solutions online that suggest lock/hide status area, but I would prefer to keep the status area on the window. Has anyone come across this problem and found a solution? Thanks in advance!

Instead of just going to the layout you need to grab Id of to layout and perform find so that there is only one record in found set. This isn't the best solution though because when they go back to list mode it'll only have one record or you can set it to show all I suppose when switching back. I really wish FileMaker would change it to not scroll records with wheel, it just confuses the users. Weirdly though if you use a mousepad it actually scrolls the layout, at least on my laptop.

AFIK, it's not possible to make the window scroll instead of changing records via the mouse scroll wheel on Windows.
