rivet Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 it might be me, but can some one look at this file. Flip through the sort buttons and note that correct totals are intermittent. summary-glitch-fmp12.zip
org Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Yes, i'm getting issues with your demo. Might have stumbled across a bug? I can't pin down when summaries go wrong but clicking into the summary field updates summary field with correct value until click out again. I'm on FM 12.2 Mac / OSX 10.6.8 (i know, should get with the programme)

bruceR Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Entering preview mode then switching to browse mode also refreshes the values.
mr_vodka Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Indeed this looks like s bug and a pretty major one. I can replicate the issue on Windows. If you click into the summary field per each subsummary part you will see the correct number. It just doesnt display it properly when not active. Please report this to FMI.
Newbies billw Posted August 12, 2012 Newbies Posted August 12, 2012 This also happens with calculation fields and I've seen it in FM11. Attached is a demonstration in FM12. The point of the calculations is to distribute the freight cost of a shipment proportionately to all items in the shipment. As above, if you click in the calculation field or switch modes it updates.
