wintergreen
I have a solution that allows the end user to upgrade their own database. Basically I send them the new file, they run it, and it pulls in the old data. With FM12, I suspect that this workflow may no longer work. Is it still possible, with FM12, to import data stored in an FP7 file (i.e. via script)?
bcooney
I don't think so. You may need to release a FM11 version that includes a script to export all data into text files. The first release of the FM12 solution import those files. From then on, your FM12 file will be able to access the previous FM12 as you did during the .fp7 format days. Well that kind of sucks.
MSPJ
I'm facing this exact same situation. Wondering what you ended up doing.
