TaiChi56 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 When I run the script "Flag Enrollment Records & Import into Students" I get the following error: "A table cannot be imported into itself" Cannot seem to figure out where the problem is in the script. Please advise. Thank you. StudentList.zip StudentSchedule_FmForum_Aug23.2012.zip
bruceR Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Your attachment only contains an Excel spreadsheet. There are no FileMaker files and therefore no script to evaluate.
TaiChi56 Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 I attached the sample database. The data is under the enrollment table. The script is in the database. Should I have attached it a different way? Please advise. Thank you.
TaiChi56 Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Ok that is where I am really confused now. The file that says is missing is the name of the zip file I attached. If you download StudentSchedule_FMForum_Aug232012.zip and open it you will get a form view layout with out any data. I go to the Enrollment layout and then run the scirpt "Import & Clean" this is suppose to biring in the data from the EXCEL sheet that is attached. "Then i run Flag Enrollment Records and Import into Student." This is where is the error come up and says that the file "StudentSchdule_FMForum_Aug232012.zip cannot be found. That is the name of the database that I zipped. I am baffled. ?? Ok, I went in the script and found that I need to put the filename of the database in the Import Filename. I specified for this database to the the file. But when I zip it and run it, it is gone and I get the same error. I will work on it somemore. Has to be the way I am trying to fill that script part.
