The simplest way to show only the first record of a group, IMHO, would be to sort the records and show them in a list layout that contains a leading sub-summary by Date part, and no body part.

 

 

Doing this through a relationship is more complicated (do a find for "Ugo method").

Michael: I tried to do the find you mentioned but it didn't work, I think the find function here is not working very well on old posts.

 

Googling "UGO method" however, I did find a link to your 28 April 2005 post. But that link within your post (the second link) now appears to be dead.
