I have been running my solution for over two years on SuperContainer. We have over 2m images loaded. All create thumbnails (using the Troi plugin) and then download and or view fine from SuperContainer.

Very recently we have started getting some new images (jpgs). They look fine in native image programs. They load into the solution (SC) fine. The thumbnails look fine. However, when I view them in the web viewer they appear rotated. I have adjusted the aspect ration of the viewer but they always rotate.

I can download using the SCDownload function and the files views perfectly.

As expected when viewing them in IWP they also rotate.

Very off-putting and I know my new users will find it unacceptable.

Any ideas?

I can supply you with one of the images - about 6Mb.

Tony

PS I tried to attach the image but I got an error - No file was selected for upload

I'm having the same issue.  My File is attached.  I does not seem to happen when using the SuperContainers Server, only when using SuperContainer incorporated with FileMaker Server.  I'm using FileMaker Server 11.0.4.404.  Latest version of SuperContainers and Java version "Java SE 6".

P.S.  I've tried both the basic and Advance upload features for these post and either worked.  No File.

Hey Todd/Tony,

Are you running FMS on a Windows or Mac OS X machine? Just so I can try to better reproduce this on my end.

I'm not seeing the file attachment, could you resend it?

Hi ourcalling,

I am unsure if this was resolved as it was a while ago. Can you upload the image that is rotating for you here or send it directly to me at [email protected] . I'd like to test and see if I can reproduce from here.

I am trying to load an image from the web in a web viewer. I am using the following code:

"data:text/html,<img src='http://" & pic_table::pic_url & "' style='width:100%;' />"

or even this

"data:text/html,<img src='http://www.ourcalling.org/uploads/pic.jpg' style='width:100%;' />"

The URL for the picture is http://www.ourcalling.org/uploads/pic.jpg

If you view the image in your web browser, you will see it landscape. When I try to load it in a web viewer, it is rotated 90 degrees - portrait. Any ideas?
