AutoUpdate with Filemaker Pro Advanced 12

Featured Replies

In FMPA 12, when I attempt to open the 360Works AutoUpdater file:

fmnet:/autoupdate.360works.com/AutoUpdate360Works

I receive the error:

The file "autoUpdate360Works.fmp12" could not be opened. Either the host is not available, or the file is not available on that host.

Now what?

Hi Larry,

Have you downloaded the file to your machine, or are you attempting to open it from the 360Works website?

Larry, I think this is just a simple mix-up. The correct FM address for AutoUpdate for FMP12 is fmnet://autoupdate12.360works.com/AutoUpdate360Works

Cheers!

When using this link, I get the error that the server is not found.  Is there another way to download the AutoUpdate for FM12 or better?

If you go to http://360works.com/autoupdate/ can you get to the autoupdate file if you click on the link for 'Launch for Filemaker 12 or later'? The updater for 12 and later is now at fmp://autoupdate.360works.com/AutoUpdate360Works

It's working!  I've been getting an error all day that the server or file was not available.  Thank you.
