Any options for Android/Windows 8 tablets?

Featured Replies

Were working on an application that will be given to field agents.

Since they  will have spotty internet access were looking at something like GoSync to let them work offline.

Gosync only works with filemaker go on ipad

Were looking for a similar solution that will work on Android or Windows 8 tablets.

anyone know of any solution?

i think filemaker is made by apple. so its doubtful that they would support android/windows mobile devices.

Im personally an android fan, so I would appreciate it if filemaker added support for other mobile platforms. But like I said, seems unlikely.

The solution is IWP, but with spotty Internet service this may not work for you. On the other hand, any syncing solution requires a connection of some sort.

Did you do search of google? I did using "filemaker go and android" and it turned up a couple threads about this. The one titled

You don't really need Gosync as well being working with filemakergo on 11, 12, 13 file that is stored on device and sync to server when WIFI is available.  You just need to have the file on local and server structure correctly and script to make that happen.
