July 25, 201312 yr Hi Bob, Your profile shows that you only have the Client version so you can not work with Custom Functions. However, some times you can just past the functions in your Calculation and it will work, unless the are recursive. Instead, check out the demo files at databaselpros
July 28, 201312 yr Author Thanks both of you for the feedback and resources. This will save a lot of time and its great to learn tricks along the way. I'm working temporarily for a NGO that uses FileMaker Advanced, but I may also need to work on standard FileMaker in the future. I haven't developed in FileMaker for about 10 years but its like catching up with an old friend.
July 28, 201312 yr I'm with Lee on this. Ya can't go back. I can't imagine. I don't even remember all the differences and take for granted things like custom menus. Imagine designing without them!
