August 16, 201312 yr I recently changed premises and I notice that my supercontainer is being blocked because it doesn't have the necessary certificate any more. Not sure if it's becasue I updated Java recently or becasue I am with another Internet provider. I updated to the latest version of Supercontainer (2.89) but still no luck. Below is the log. Any help would be so grateful? Thanks so much in advance java.security.cert.CertificateRevokedException: Certificate has been revoked, reason: AFFILIATION_CHANGED, revocation date: Thu May 24 19:09:28 CEST 2012, authority: CN=Thawte Code Signing CA, O=Thawte Consulting (Pty) Ltd., C=ZA, extensions: {} at com.sun.deploy.security.RevocationChecker.checkOCSP(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.RevocationChecker.check(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.TrustDecider.checkRevocationStatus(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.TrustDecider.getValidationState(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.TrustDecider.validateChain(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.TrustDecider.isAllPermissionGranted(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.isTrustedByTrustDecider(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.getTrustedCodeSources(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.CPCallbackHandler$ParentCallback.strategy(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.CPCallbackHandler$ParentCallback.openClassPathElement(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath$JarLoader.getJarFile(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath$JarLoader.access$1000(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath$JarLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath$JarLoader.ensureOpen(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath$JarLoader.<init>(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath$3.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath.getLoader(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath.getLoader(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployURLClassPath.getResource(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader$2.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.findClassHelper(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass0(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass0(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager.initAppletAdapter(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Using JRE version 1.7.0_25-b17 Java HotSpot Client VM User home directory = C:Userslippy ---------------------------------------------------- c: clear console window f: finalize objects on finalization queue g: garbage collect h: display this help message l: dump classloader list m: print memory usage o: trigger logging q: hide console r: reload policy configuration s: dump system and deployment properties t: dump thread list v: dump thread stack x: clear classloader cache 0-5: set trace level to <n> ---------------------------------------------------- Missing Permissions manifest attribute for: http://192.168.1.175:8020/SuperContainer/sc_applet.jar Missing Codebase manifest attribute for: http://192.168.1.175:8020/SuperContainer/sc_applet.jar Missing Permissions manifest attribute for: http://192.168.1.175:8020/SuperContainer/sc_applet.jar Missing Codebase manifest attribute for: http://192.168.1.175:8020/SuperContainer/sc_applet.jar
September 6, 201312 yr Hi Maria, Are you still experiencing this problem with SuperContainer v2.89? If so, could you email me at the address in my signature? I can help you troubleshoot the problem through a screen share which should be much faster than posting back and forth here.
April 8, 201411 yr Hi, Did this ever get resolved? One of my clients has just reported that the same thing has been happening with them. They have SuperContainer Companion 2.896 and the latest version of Java. Their log (at least the first 20 lines or so) is identical to the one you've posted. Thanks, Lauren
April 10, 201411 yr Hi Lauren, I never heard back from MariaAux, but that's most likely because I was so late with my reply. You should not be getting an error with the certificate for SuperContainer. Regardless, the quickest way to resolve this is for us to get together on a screen share so that I can see your environment and test with some settings to see what works. I will post back here once we get your situation fixed so others can find a solution. Can you email me at the address in my signature?
