August 22, 201312 yr Author Thanks, that's one way to "patch" it up but I wanted to know how Filemaker did it anyone?
August 22, 201312 yr How FileMaker did what exactly? Is the file you sent an example of what FileMaker DID? If so, where?
August 22, 201312 yr Author You mean like this? A little harsh, but it is for example. Thanks, As you can see from your file, both active and inactive Tab label/header and body color has one color but from the original Contacts.fmp12, inactive Tab Label/header has dark grey color, while the active body has light grey (2 different color) I need to know how Filemaker did that, afterall this is their starter template.
August 22, 201312 yr To change these, you have to select the tab in layout mode and then use the Inspector to select the part and then choose a color. HTH Lee
August 22, 201312 yr The key is learning how to use the different object states on the appearance tab of the inspector. Â You have control over how the object appears in different states (normal, hover, pressed, in focus)
August 22, 201312 yr Hi Bruce, that was what I was trying to say, but you said it better. Hi Norman?, I move your topic here because we have this one for layout needs in v12. Please use this link to up date your profile to reflect your change in FileMaker (and any other info that has changed) MY PROFILE Lee
