Lately I added the option of generating a pdf file on the user's desktop. It works fine for FileMaker Pro users but it does not work for Runtime solutions. Actually, nothing happens. Is this some kind of limitation or simply a bug with the Runtime solution? By the way it was generated with Pro 12.

At one time, PDFs were not supported in Runtimes. It had to do with the licensing between FileMaker and Adobe I believe.

I have not seen where this has changed, and I did a search of the help files and couldn’t verify this one way or the other. :(

Save as PDF is not supported on runtime solutions. I don't believe this has changed in recent versions.

For the sake of confirmation:

Look at the 4th bullet from the bottom. It is also in the online version of the help.
