Can anyone tell me if portal sorting is any easier in FM13?

I would like to sort a portal by clicking on a header name in the portal.

I have seen various techniques which look complicated

No its not easy you still have to use obscure hacks to get it done.

It's not the perfectly clean built-in FileMaker feature we'd like, but I like to think Virtual Sort is past the "obscure hack" stage.

yeah, but you'd think that FM would make it possible ... it is version 13 after all. I find this a great disappointment.

 

(Though perhaps it's a very hard thing for them to do.)
