Has anybody else run into field formatting issues with WebDirect and Safari/Chrome?  I am trying to center-justify and center-align a set of fields, but no matter what I do the Web Direct version ALWAYS appears top-left aligned and justified.  No amount of stripping styles/creating new styles fixes this.

When my fields are center-aligned on a Filemaker layout, they also appear center aligned via WebDirect on a Safari browser. It doesn't matter if I have changed the field style.  Did you try it on a sample database?

Hi James,

I've had similar but only with Firefox.  Have you tried setting the field padding? Check Inspector > Appearance > Advanced Graphics.  It is new in 13 and provided to allow these types of adjustments.

As Matthew suggests, you can also try using an object from a sample database that works.  Then select the UP arrow next to the Appearance default style for field, select a regular object in your custom theme and DOWN arrow to copy the style over.  Then be sure to save the Style to your theme and also save your Theme if you wish to replicate the change throughout your solution.

I have not tried it on a Sample Database yet, I'll give that a whirl and post the results.

I did fix the issue by adding field padding that centers the text, so there's that too!
