Currently I have 3 copies of Filemaker 5 unlimited which we purchased for a raic / lasso 5 set up. After a week of testing I realized that RAIC doesnt work as promised.

Am I better of Upgrading one copy to FM 5.5 unlimited for the multi-treaded web comp.?

Has anyone made the raic work with osx, lasso 5 and filemaker?

Any please i can find or read instructions?

When I have more then one copy of Unlimited 5 with Lasso 5 as server it skips every other request.

When I run a single copy it works just fine.

What I expected was filemaker to work like it says it does.

I have read about 50 places on the net where it says it doesnt work as promised and Blueworld will tell you the same.

I've got a similar problem, I'm running OS X Server v1.2 and FileMaker WSC it connects to two different machines... it seems to send every other request to Macine A and the opposing request to Machine B... is there anyway to change this...

At first I had dreams that it would do some kind of "smart" load balancing based on machine load or response time or something, but now I'd be happy if I could specify one Machine's IP as the primary, and only have it point to the second machine if the 1st one crashed...

any hopes out there for a UNIX hack for the old WSC (v5) on OS X Server v1.2 ?
