Aussie John
My web direct solution worked fine until it was placed under a moderate to light load 10-20 people, where it has now started to refuse access. This access denial includes all webdirect files and the access to the home page is also denied. Everything else seems to be fine with access to the console and the standard network and all services noted as green. I have restarted too. All help gratefully received. EDIT: I have completely reinstalled filemaker to no effect. i also get 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. Josh Ormond
I know this may be obvious, but how many connections to you have for FMS? Is there a limit on the web server itself that may be refusing the connections?
Aussie John
I have the standard file maker Server. Even if every one who was invited to log in it did so at the same time it would have been 40 connections. That is very unlikely so at most it might have 20. This error occurs even if I am the only person trying to access it
Aussie John
OK it is now fixed. Seems our IT guy installed a new firewall and it has been somewhat selectively failing on some ports. thanks Josh
