I looked but as I'm searing for a 3 letter phrase, it didn't seem to bring up any results.

AOL's instant messaging service is being discontinued as of December 2017.

Will there be a new SMS option going forward?

Hey Christopher,

  We're looking into continuing our SMS support via the Trillio API. As to when it will happen, I can't be sure, but comments like yours let us know customers are interested in us maintaining SMS support and will likely impact our development timeline.

  Once active development is in progress, I'll make a note to communicate it on our website and FMForums.

Any update on this?

I don't think there any plans in place right now to continue SMS messaging using our Email plugin. If something changes I'll be sure to mention it here.
