Here is the scenario: I have several teachers that would like to updatate their databases via the Internet. Should I create individual databases for each teacher or should I have one db where each teacher will have the ability to edit their records?

Then again, a single database is a lot easier to manage anyway.

Pardon me, I don't want to mess up. I do not I understand. Do you favor one huge database or many small ones? The data will not be totalled or compared in any way. It's an individual effort.

Only one way to really be sure: perform a short "pilot" test and try out both ways, see which method the teachers like best and which seems to work well.

In photography they call this a "practical test." All critical decisions are made using practical tests. Polaroids are one example.
