FMWSC+ Apache under windows 2K platform - How to?

I am using FMPro 5.5 unlimited on Windows 2000 platfrom.

So far i am serving CDML webpages through IIS 5 using FM web connector. Recently i've decided to switch to Apache web server (Mostly because of 10 user limit with IIS.)

My problem now is... how do i use FM web connector with Apache 1.3.2xx on Windows 2000 pro OS?

I would really appreciate if some one can help me with this problem.

Thanks in advance

It should be very similar.

RE: Mostly because of 10 user limit with IIS.

Is that non-server version?

Personally I think Apache will be not so good on Windows as IIS.

Thanks a million for the advice.

I've tried installing like i did for IIS but it does not work (the config window does not open in the browser). In the WCS readme file it says this could happen if auto config of apache fails... and, it suggests that i read configure.txt file to connect manually. My problem is i am not able to locate this darn configure.txt file. I would really appreciate if some one could let me know the config details.

Reg: IIS vs apache on windows.

I totally agree with you... to start with IIS is bloody easy to operate. I am only considering apache because of cost factor. This is an education project with ridiculous funding. In the same breath, i would also like to know issues one should be aware of - for using FM with apache.

Thanks again
