Which version of FMU are you using?

Do you have FMU and WebCompanion updated to the latest versions?

Are FM files open with password, which allows Export Records? That is very important.

We are using Unlimited on NT and W2000. I don't have any experience with XP.

Let us know!

It is version 6. File Maker Pro 6 Unlimited.

I just received it few days back.

Do i need to updated from the File maker site something for webcompanion or for FMU 6.

But i have FM server setup long back and it is running fine.

So i installed the FMU 6 on a different machine.

As i want to host only few databases from FM server. I am opening them in the FMU 6 that i have received recently. And i have set it up on a XP machine.

And the files(databases) that i open are not with password.

so what do you suggest me.

is it XP. Do you want me to try on 2000 or NT machine.

Any suggestions or solutions please. I really appreciate your help.

thanks,

naveen

Are they closing after being accessed from the web?

If so, make sure all the forms and URLS you use have proper syntax, with -format and -lay tags and the proper name of the scripts. I have seen filemaker close files when a URL or form is submitted that does not have a -lay tag, or scripts named don't exist in the file.
