Newbies enderl25 Posted October 2, 2003 Newbies Posted October 2, 2003 hello, i was hoping someone might help me determine why my online search feature is limiting the results to 25 records? i am using [FMP-Record] & [FMP-FIELD] to display the results. is there supposed to be a limit to how many records [FMP-Record] will deliver? thanks for your time, EnderL25
kenneth2k1 Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 I noticed the same thing when going to table view using IWP
Garry Claridge Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Try using "-max=all" in your search. Good Luck. Garry
Unable Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 "...why my online search feature is limiting the results to 25..." is because that is the default number. This is made quite clear in the CDMLRdb, which you should use with regularity.
kenneth2k1 Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Where do I find the CDMLRdb? Is it included with FM? Thanks
Unable Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 Search the CDML forum for CDML Reference database. You should find at least one active link with that. It is the source of syntax which we all need. Just be aware that most of it is true. The rest gets covered here on the Internet forums. Read them daily. Search for old threads. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge available here. Also use the Sample Files forum for ways and ideas. I think all of that is 5.x and above.
kenneth2k1 Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 Oh, the Reference database... the same one that comes with the CDML Tool?
Anatoli Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 RE: Oh, the Reference database... the same one that comes with the CDML Tool? Sure. I've never used the Tool itself, but I wouldn't start any CDML work without CDML RD already running!
Newbies enderl25 Posted October 5, 2003 Author Newbies Posted October 5, 2003 thanks garry, i sincerely appreciate your assistance. i had completely overlooked this limitation when reading through the CDMLR DB.
