Sam Laundon
Since upgrading to Tiger, I am unable to paste a file name into the Save Print dialogue box. I save graphic files from FileMaker as postscript files that are distilled. My script copies the file name and when I click the print button the print dialogue window opens so I can past the file name in the the save window. This process worked fine in Panther, but since upgrading to Tiger, I get a beep sound when I try to paste the name. This happens for both FM 6 and FM 7. Has anyone experience this problem and figured out how to fix it? Thanks in advance - Sam
Wim Decorte
maybe do a short pause before pasting?
Sam Laundon
No, that does not help. No matter how long I wait, I still can not paste in the save print window.
stanley
Sam: Has the file name made it into the clipboard, or is the clipboard empty? -Stanley
Sam Laundon
Yes, the file name is in the clickboard because I can paste it in another document.
stanley
Sam: Do you have the latest update to Tiger? I think they're up to 10.4.1 - perhaps that fixes it... -Stanley

Sam Laundon
I called FileMaker on this and they said it is a bug in the program. The solution is to control click on the save window to bring up the copy/paste window.
