Highlighting a row with conditional formatting

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to use conditional formatting in FM9 to highlight the row of the active record in list view. Thanks in advance.

Look at this ... unfortuntely not as straight forward as one would hope and not always reliable... I have stopped trying to achieve this.

I'm trying to use conditional formating to highlight a field in the active record during list view. Is there a function equivilent of

Get(ActiveRecord)or some other way to achieve this through conditional formating?

It's usually done by wrapping it inside itself as a selfjoin, utilizing this method:

--sd

How is this different from your other thread here:

The answer is still no.

You can, however, try the attached workaround.

HighlightActiveField.fp7.zip

I have merged your two Topics about this question.

Please do NOT double post in the forum. The Forum is only one list, divided into several Topics Areas. As a member, we only ask that you pick Topic Area that has one of the Functions or Features that you believe are involved in your problem. If you miss it a lot, you will still receive answers (if there are any), and a Moderator can move it to a better choice.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Sorry for the double post, my mistake. I had intended to add to the thread on the second post and just ask if there was an equivelent to

Get(ActiveRecord)as a possible work around but posted incorrectly. my appologies. Thanks for your replies.
