LuckMan212 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Hello, I have a customer who would like to use Filemaker 9.0 to 1) do some simply data entry task, 2) create an XML-formatted output file, and 3) upload that file using a dynamically-named filename to a hard-coded sFTP server (secure FTP). I have taken care of #1 and #2 but I am stumped on #3 and have not found any solution. Is there such a plug-in? By the way they are using the Windows platform. I did not want to get into commandline batch files and external scripts, this is a runtime solution and I wanted it to be as "plug-and-play" as possible. Thank you for any insights! B)
Phillip Holmes Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Search the forum for MOO plugin. This plugin does FTP functionality.
inevaexisted Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 according to the page it only handles FTP Download not upload as yet...
LuckMan212 Posted December 11, 2007 Author Posted December 11, 2007 so the search continues for a download/upload solution.... quite surprised nobody has needed this before??
Adam Dempsey Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I have been working on adding upload to MooPlug and I think I got it working but it currently still has some debug messages etc in, I could tidy it up later and you could see if that would work for you :
Jesse Barnum Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 We just finished writing an sFTP plugin for another client. Please contact me directly at 770-234-9293 to discuss if you'd like to license it.
Kingme Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Would love to have the upload FTP feature. I've been waiting for CNS Ftpit to update for Intel Mac's, but I'm tired of waiting!
Jesse Barnum Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Our FTP plugin is now finished and shipping - it does FTP, FTPS (FTP over SSL) and SFTP (FTP over SSH). It also runs on the server, for scheduled script trigger, so give it a shot! http://www.360works.com/ftpeek
