FM Pro SDK version 3

Featured Replies

Anyone have FM Pro SDK version 3 they want to sell

or donote for a good cause.

I am helping a charity develop a filemaker solution in version 4. They currently do not have FM Pro on their PC's and I think a runtime solution would be perfect.

Charity is a youth mentoring program.

... If they are planning on using this on Vista or even XP, I doubt FM 3 would run.

You do realise, of course that runtime solutions are SINGLE USER. As you mentioned multiple PCs then will they be wanting to network?

If they need multi user, but have no cash then a single FMP9 can serve upto 5 Instant Web Publishing sessions. There are some limitations, but not as limiting as their financial position.

IWP is light years ahead from what was available in v3/4.

On the other hand...

Get the FMP9 download - develop the solution in 30 days and ask someone on here to bind the runtime for you.

I believe SDK 3 was an exception. That's why it was so hard to get (and probably still is). And I don't see why FMP3 wouldn't run on XP - I know FMP4 does, and they are not so different.
