PHP Trouble finding fields based on Calculations

Featured Replies

Running into a major issue with my site. Some of the data I need to display just isn't coming up when trying to display it.

Its seemingly happening to calculation fields which are based on a calculation of another field of a referenced file. It appears to work fine on calculation fields in the same file.

I say seemingly only because I have seen it working. For example, I thought I had it solved by adding the referenced fields onto the layout because they showed up when I refreshed my web page. But after trying it with another field, it didn't work, and then trying to go back to the first field did not allow it to work either. It appears to be some sort of bug.

I know its not connectivity issues with the other database or I would be getting an Unable to open file error. I've had it do this before.

Any help would be mucho appreciated as this is a huge part of our calendar/website integration.

I've attached a screenshot of pertinent information. (the layout shown is using the ConcertDataSelect table)

Ensure you have enabled permissions for your web account (with the same username and password) in your other file and ensure that your permissions allow access to any field which you use in your main file calculation.

I think you are right about the bug thing. I posted this on a separate post but thought it should go here also:

I have a DB with 27,000 real estate listings. Created with Site assistant and modified a little.

Periodically the price of the house will show up as zero on list page the and some times it will show up correct price?:)? Periodically, not all the time. Normally after I have concurred some other issue!

Here is the formating for that field. It is the same on the detail page and works all the time?:

<?php echo nl2br ($english_format_number = number_format($record->getField('List Price', 0),0));?>

Thanks

Here is another periodic error with screen shots of the searches and incorrect results they provide.

I do a search for a price range and a city. The city is the issue. The name of the City is "IRA". If I search for "IRA" I get no matches. If I search for "IR" I receive 126 matches including [color:red]IRA and St. Cla[color:red]ire and B[color:red]irmingham

Again this is Periodically, not all the time. This error was with Safari on a Mac. I immediately opened firefox and performed the same search and received the correct results with 14 matches.

This is DB with 27,000 real estate listings. Created with Site assistant and modified a little. I have redeployed and started from scratch too many times to count.
