Jed69 Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I am using the get function get(PrivilegeSetName) but it always returns the [Full Access] as a result regardless of who is logged on to use the database. I have most of my users on a Privilede Set called [user Set]. Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing something obvious.
Jed69 Posted April 19, 2008 Author Posted April 19, 2008 Just discovered this is because I am running the script with full access privileges. I think I can work out a way round this by running two scripts

It sounds like the file is being served, if so, how are they being accessed. i.e. Server, Server Advance, Web, peer to peer, etc. Lee
comment Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 You are on the right track. Keep in mind that sub-scripts do NOT inherit the calling script's privileges. A one-line sub-script (run WITHOUT full access): Exit Script [ Result: Get ( PrivilegeSetName ) ] will return the current PrivilegeSetName to the main script, where you can refer to it using the Get ( ScriptResult ) function.
