June 12, 200817 yr I don't know where to post this so I thought I'd start here. I work for a small company (7 employees). Each employee has their own contacts either in Outlook or Mac's address book. The contacts are not all unique, we all have some in common. We also have a FM database with everyone's contacts combined. Some of our employees are getting tired of adding contacts in two places, and want to know if they can sync their contacts with FM. Who's already doing this and how?
June 12, 200817 yr Syncing across platforms sounds like a big challenge for a small company. You might want to consider syncing via an outside service such as Google or Apple's Mobile me. Of course this doesn't solve your Filemaker integration problem...
June 12, 200817 yr Perhaps this can help you. http://www.productivecomputing.com/cart/productdetail.php?ID=40
June 13, 200817 yr In addition to the plugin that John suggested, above, to communicate between Filemaker and Outlook, the same developer also has a plugin to manipulate data in Apple's Address Book application. Caveat emptor as for any Filemaker plugin.
