Foreign language characters on web

Hi.

I have been asked to create a simple database to be presented on the web. Users would choose a language from a dropdown menu, and the appropriate text for a product would be shown.

Some of the translations may use japanese, Chinese, Korean or Cyrillic scripts/fonts. I have not worked with foreign character palattes before in FMPro.

When the translations come in can I just store them in a regular text field. Can I expect that field to display properly on a web page created through FX.php or do I need to be aware of special behaviour for different character palates?
