I have a client who is on Server 8

I am signing in with VPN and using Server Admin 8. Clients are administering the computer from another computer on the LAN with Server Admin 8. They are all windows. My other client's are Mac. I need to point the manage to exact place to check. I do not have direct access to server but they do have an IT contract firm.

Do I need to have any ports on my computer open for Admin 8.
