layout pop-up menu listing not pop up any more

Featured Replies

When I login FileMakePro4 from a workstation on the network to the server I've this problem that layout pop-up menu in status panel under Browse mode doesn't display the list of layout any more. But it's OK on other workstation using same login (superuser privileges. Even I reinstall FM4

it still doesn't display the list of layouts from

layout pop-up menus in status panel of browse mode.

Is there anybody know how to fix it? Thanx

Are you hosting the files in FM Server? Where are the files (on the server?)? Where is the FileMaker 4.0 program (on the server or local machine?)?

no, I'm not hosting the program. FM4 is in local

workstation, but the database is in server. All

other stations are in same configuration. I'd

login on other stations using my adminstrator

password. They all work fine. I even uninstall

FM4 from this particular station, delete all folders/files of "Claris corp" under "Program Files", reboot, reinstall FM4 and reboot again, it

still does same thing, not be able to popup the

layout listing in browse mode. It just flicks the

box of "layout pop-up menu".

Thanx for responding.

George

I would guess that FMI is using an OS widget to generate the popup, so it is possible that it is an OS instll problem.
