You have discovered that graphics (in a circular shape) do not render as circular in IWP. Can you touchup and re-import the logo with a matching background?

it's right in the IWP users guide :)

Tips for rendering layouts in Instant Web Publishing

Layouts are rendered in web browsers using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Not all layout objects can display with CSS. For example:

1 Avoid diagonal lines, pen patterns, fill patterns, and ovals. They do not display in web browsers. 1 Rounded objects created with FileMaker Pro tools cannot be rendered. For example:

1 1 1

Rounded rectangles are displayed as rectangles. Buttons and tabs on tab panels are displayed as rectangles (without rounded corners). Circles are not displayed.

However, Instant Web Publishing can display an image of a rounded object. You can use FileMaker Pro layout tools to draw a rounded object, use the screen-capture feature of your operating system to create an image of the object, then paste or insert the image onto your FileMaker Pro layout. This alternative doesn’t work for rounded tabs, though.

I am afraid the quoted part has no bearing on the issue at hand. The "icon" in the OP is obviously not a "rounded object created with FileMaker Pro tools". It's an image with a transparent background - and Filemaker can display it correctly, as the guide says just below the part you quoted, and as shown in my screenshot.

I found that only GIF formats handle transparency properly.

Did you use PNG? I never got that to work.

Is no23rman Windows or Mac? I do not know this subject but I know that (some) icons lose their transparency on Windows when the files are served (FMS9 or FMS11) and then accessed through Citrix (exactly the issue as displayed).

Our graphics guy solved it by using a different icon type (sorry, I do not know which).
