This is the second time that you have said this. Can you elaborate? AFAIK, both 11 and 12 were still written in C.

Languages wouldn't make a difference, both FMS11 and FMS12 use exactly the same ports for data and admin stuff so the first one to start would block the other from working. That is assuming that you could get them installed in the first place, I'm pretty sure the installer wouldn't do the installation.
