Unavailable To Open Host File

Featured Replies

Hi , i set up the network all using fmp 11 and from all fmp 11 . i have no problem opening the host file.

bu i have one machine that i use fmp 9 and this machine i can not open the host file.'

when i click open remote from fmp9 machine , it shows the host machine name but it doesn't show the avaiable file name.

if i host a file from fmp 11 , from fmp 9 , i can not access to that host file ?

Perhaps this issue?

Update to the latest patches.

http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6995/~/invalid-ssl-certificates-created-when-filemaker-pro-is-installed-on-or-after

Could be one of three things...

1 - An SSL issue with the client

2 - Another issue I can't remember where you have modify the .pem file ( but that's only for Mac ) .

3 - Your hosted file is set to not allow access from previous versions of Filemaker.
