Quant Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Hi, I have found an example on the web of an resourceplanner and in this example did they use this sign: "¶" resource_data_1::Res_data_status & "¶" &. What is the function of this sign..?? Thanks, Frans
Quant Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 Thanks Comment, is the same as in word editor.
Vaughan Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 The name of the character is "pilcrow". Interstingly, according to wikipedia the character is old: it dates back to the middle ages.
comment Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 is the same as in word editor. It's the same as Char (13). In a text editor, you'd probably use r.
Vaughan Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I think he means that in Ms Word, the pilcrow is used to show carriage returns when the show invisible character option is enabled (and the pilcrow is the icon used to toggle the option).

Vaughan Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Son, that's no lady, she's my word processor.
David Jondreau Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Outside of Ms Word, a book is a man's best friend. Inside Ms Word, it's too dark to read.
