This demonstrates the List Of Summary Field and how to preserve vertical position so that your script can perform its task if you need to include the NULL values.

 

By default the List Of Summary field does not preserve the NULL values.

 

The key is to create a field that concatenates the desired field with some other data such as 

& "|" & Get (RecordNumber)
